Support Your Library – Friends

Support Your Library

The Friends of Vail Public Library work to assist the library director in promoting and improving library services, materials and facilities; and, in seeking donations, gifts and bequests.

Who We Are and What We Do

The Friends of Vail Public Library help host cultural speakers and programs at the library, work to enrich and enhance existing library services, assist with the annual Fourth of July book and bake sales and advocate for the library through public awareness. In addition, the Friends support the many facets of the digital archives initiative.

Book Donations

Vail Public Library accepts book/media donations throughout the year. Please click here to see our book/media donation policy. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the library will not be taking donations until further notice.

All gift materials are evaluated for their usefulness in the library’s collection, gift items are not automatically added to the collection. If gift items are not added to the collection, they will be designated for the library’s ongoing book sale.
