Adult Program Series

Books & Reading

Vail Public Library showcases a virtual author talk series each month featuring bestselling, award-winning, and highly acclaimed authors from around the world.  The featured writers and thought leaders will cover a wide range of fiction and nonfiction genres.

The free, virtual series takes place two to three times a month and includes the opportunity to ask questions to the author.  Register and submit your author questions here: LSC | Vail Public Library Webinars and Online Events (libraryc.org). A complete list of past events is available on the registration page. All past talks are available for our patrons to enjoy at any time.

Love to discuss books? We offer book discussions so you can connect with others in Vail and beyond. All book groups discuss the same book and there are many ways for you to participate! Learn more about the monthly title here.

One Book One Valley (OBOV) encourages all residents to read the same book at the same time to create a Community Book Club. Vail Public Library has partnered with many organizations over the years to offer this to our community including Vail Symposium, The Bookwork of Edwards, Colorado Mountain College, and Eagle Valley Land Trust. Programs and events related to the chosen book happen throughout the valley and will engage readers of all ages and interests. This program will be back for its 14th year Fall 2025.
