StoryWalk® at Bighorn Park in East Vail

PLEASE VISIT!!

SUMMER 2021 TITLE
“I KNOW THE RIVER LOVES ME” BY MAYA CHRISTINA GONZALEZ

Vail Public Library has our 2nd book up in the park!  The book, I Know the River Loves Me by Maya Cristina Gonzalez will grace the StoryWalk® through July.  Read the book and enjoy the creative extension activities. Help us satisfy the requirements of our Cares Act Grant by letting us know what you think on the feedback form after the next paragraph.

StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children’s book are attached to frames and mounted on wooden stakes, which are installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you’re directed to the next page in the story.
