1000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN
One of the most important gifts you can provide your child is the gift of literacy. That is why we invite you to join the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten initiative.
Help your child gain the confidence to become a strong reader. Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, toddler or preschooler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books before your precious one starts kindergarten.
Send Cricket an email to sign up firstname.lastname@example.org We’ll send you a reading log to keep track of your books and aware of small prizes along the way!
READ ALOUD 15 MINUTES
Research shows that reading aloud is the single most important thing you can do to help prepare a child for reading and learning. For more information, click here.
