
Visit Vail Public Library with a photo I.D. to get or renew a library card.
Library card memberships are available to EVERYONE! As long as you have some form of photo I.D. (Drivers license, ski pass, school I.D., etc.) you are eligible.
This includes:
– Guests visiting
– Vail residents
– Vail seasonal workers
– Children attending school in Eagle County
– Residents living in Eagle County
– Colorado residents who are cardholders at their local libraries
*A parent or guardian must accompany applicants under 12 with a valid form of photo ID, unless the student is enrolled in an Eagle County School. Students who attend Eagle County Schools can use their school ID at Vail Public Library through the One Card program; for more details on the One Card program, please read the FAQ here.
Renewal Time Periods:
- Guest Cards: Winter Season (Nov. 1 – Apr. 30); Summer Season (May 1 – Oct. 30)
- Local Cards: 2 years
- Juvenile Cards: 1 year
