Winter Reading Challenge - Beginning Dec 23^rd ( when school gets off for the winter break)  to January 31, 2019, Vail Public Library will participate in Beanstack’s Second Annual Winter Reading Challenge, sponsored by Mark Cuban. We challenge our patrons to read at least 3,000 minutes during the month and keep track of their reading on our Beanstack site here. Hundreds of libraries and schools across the nation will encourage their communities to read a target number of minutes and books. If we reach the collective goal, "Shark Tank" investor Mark Cuban will donate $35,000 top participating libraries to expand access to the resources we offer within the community.
