This community screening of Gather is part of One Book One Valley lineup of programming around Calling for a Blanket Dance, the 2024 community read. Gather tells the stories of Native Americans reconnecting with their spiritual and cultural identities through obtaining sovereignty over their ancestral food ways. Like Calling for a Blanket Dance, the film Gather shines a spotlight on Indigenous people working to heal themselves and their communities by reuniting with their heritage.
