Please welcome Kim Brodin as the library's new Gentle Yoga instructor.
Kim is an Eagle County native who grew up in Minturn and now lives in the Red Sandstone area of Vail. The class will still focus on a gentle yoga practice and introduce some flavorings from China, including Tai Chi and Doaism.
Kim's background also includes a 12 years in education, and she hopes to incorporate playful language, nature, and quotes into the healthy movements of your yoga practice.

NOTE:
There is NO access to ZOOM Yoga after 11:45 am.

Summer Reading Program - Drum Safari

During this high-energy, interactive performance, children are invited to join a musical “safari” where they will meet different African animals whose names are set to rhythm. After meeting the animals, each child is given a percussion instrument… and the jungle jam begins!

Walking Book Club

LIFE IN THE SEA WORKSHOP

TUESDAY, JULY 26 | 2 P.M.

Children explore different ocean ecosystems and learn about the plants and animals that live there. Classifying creatures from sharks to sponges gives them a taste of ocean diversity. In Whales to Scale, they compare shark and whale teeth and measure the size of these incredible predators. Hands-on activities teach the interconnectedness of an ocean food web and the consequences of overfishing.
