This is an effort to recover overdue library materials by offering a “fine free” month. We encourage the return of needed library materials and to promote increased use of the library. While some materials are simply lost, a great many are still in the hands of the patrons who checked them out. With a "no questions asked" amnesty period, the embarrassment and fear of paying large fines as obstacles to the return of long-overdue materials will be removed. The amnesty does not include overdue fines still on record from previously returned materials, nor does it include fines for lost and/or damaged items. |

In celebration of National Library Week, Vail Public Library will again offer Amnesty Month from April 4, 2021 through April 30, 2021.
No Virtual Zumba class for the month of April.
Come by the Vail Public Library, during library open hours, and pick up your choice of complementary wildflower or vegetable seeds and planting kit to celebrate Earth Day! Let your inner botanist shine as you plant, nourish and observe your seeds as they grow into wildflowers or vegetables!
