This year’s Summer Reading theme is “A Universe of Stories”. It celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing. Using the anniversary as a jumping off point, we invite families and patrons of all ages to explore how far humankind has come since the first Moon landing. Experience a Universe of Stories through our free programs, our collection and our incentivized reading log.
Sing, Shake & Shimmy All Around the Earth! We take the audience on a journey to discover the diversity of music from around the world through European Classical, Broadway, Folk and Bluegrass, Standards, and Childrens’ Music.
Beginning Wed., July 3, and running through Sat., July 6, the Friends of Vail Public Library will be sponsoring their annual Fourth of July Book Sale. Come peruse the diverse selection of books, DVDs and CDs in the Vail Public Library's Community Room during the Book Sale hours:
Annual bake sale during the 4th of July parade. Baked goods, coffee and water available to purchase. All proceeds support the children's programing at Vail Public Library.
