Postures may be approached in gradual steps, with plenty of time to focus on breathing and repetition so that the practice is simple to do and easy to remember.

Gentle yoga style encourages a highly individualized approach to practice with on-going encouragement to make moment-to-moment adjustments.

    January 26, 2022

Children of the Camps is a one-hour documentary that portrays the poignant stories of six Japanese Americans who were interned as children in US concentration camps during W.W.II. The film captures a three-day intensive group experience, during which the participants are guided by Dr. Satsuki Ina through a process that enables them to speak honestly about their experiences and the continuing impact of internment on their lives today. The site provides background on the participants and filmmakers; offers details on the project that resulted in the documentary; presents related historical documents, a timeline, a list of internment camps and the impact on Japanese Americans; and provides related Web links, organizations and books.
