December 9, 2019Bring a project or start one here, all abilities and skill levels are welcome at Knit Night! Grab one of the library’s many knitting or crochet books for inspiration, and enjoy an evening with fellow crafters. If you need extra help our teacher, Amy Cohen, is at Alpaca in Eagle where Knit Night is offered every Tuesday.
Join the library Knit Night every 2nd and 4th Monday of the Month for conversation, encouragement, ideas, and company as you create a healthy lifestyle along with your warm and fuzzy fiber art!RSVP by 3pm is required. Our teacher is a volunteer and we want to respect her time and schedule. 970-479-2187.

Join Vail Public Library and Santa for our annual family holiday party, taking place in the fireside lounge. This fun-filled event is open to children of all ages who wish to visit with Santa Claus. While waiting to meet with Santa, kids are welcome to participate in making arts and crafts. Santa takes his time with each child who visits with him, so patience is of the utmost importance. -

Two projects will be underway this time. We're making Gingerbread houses to celebrate the season of giving. We'll also be working on our 2020 calendars. This project will challenge everyone’s artistic skills. We will be making a calendar for you to hang at home or give as a gift. Feel free to bring photos, holiday and seasonal ideas and get ready to create 12 of your very best pieces of art. -

Create your lantern at a free workshop with Alpine Arts Center in the Community Room at the Vail Public Library. Allow yourself 30 minutes at this drop-in workshop to create your lantern. Last entry is at 3:00 p.m.Following the workshop, join us for the Holiday Lantern Walk through Vail Village. Please note this is a new style lantern making workshop and appropriate for all ages and abilities!
