October 12, 2022The library's book club meets each month for a fun and lively virtual book club experience!
We meet on the second Wednesday of the month via Zoom.
Join us! for this month when we will discuss the book "A Man Called Ove: A Novel” by Fredrik Backman
Meet Ove. He’s a curmudgeon; the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him ‘the bitter neighbor from hell’. But must Ove be bitter just because he doesn’t walk around with a smile plastered to his face all the time? Behind the cranky exterior, there is a story and a sadness. So when one November morning a chatty young couple with two chatty young daughters move in next door and accidentally flatten Ove’s mailbox, it is the lead-in to a comical and heartwarming tale of unkempt cats, unexpected friendship, and the ancient art of backing up a U-Haul. All of which will change one cranky old man and a local residents’ association to their very foundations.
Email Sandy at SRivera@vailgov.com to receive an invitation to the Zoom meeting.

October 18, 2022Join us! on the third Tuesday of each month through the school year for a fun and interactive arts and crafts program. Appropriate for elementary-aged kids.
Let's celebrate Fall by showing some creative ways to paint with leaves!
There are so many different ways you can create art with leaves. Leaf painting is an easy activity that kids can enjoy.
We’ll show you a few different techniques for leaf painting and printing you can try with your kids.
You don’t need to reserve your spot but it's always nice to know you are coming so we can have enough material for everyone.
