November 29, 2022(1 event) Meditation – DROP-IN MEDITATIONPlease join us! in the library's Community Room for the return of bi-weekly meditation gatherings. Sessions will be facilitated by Toni Axelrod. Toni is a graduate student of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Naropa University in Boulder Colorado. Toni’s focus is on somatic therapy which draws on the wisdom of eastern and western therapeutic practices.These meditation gatherings are informal, following no specific approach, practice or formalities. Whether you are already well along the path, just beginning to develop a practice, or simply interested in exploring meditation, we invite you to join us in our meditation gathering. Cushions and chairs are available or feel welcome to bring a mat. |

Skiing Book Club – Vail Public Library’s Skiing Book Club takes readers to the slopes for an active book club. We will meet at the top of Eagle Bahn Gondola, by the ski patrol building, to talk books and ski! This Book Club is a fun, social outing, but at the same time, you are getting the mental and physical activity essential to a healthy brain. The selection for this month of December is “Where the crawdads sing” by Delia Owens Attendees must have their own ski pass. The library will not be providing lift tickets.
