Mark Lemon is a product of the West. He was born in Sun Valley ID, then raised in Littleton CO. Lemon was brought up with a love of skiing, cycling, climbing and other outdoor activities. This led him to put down roots in the Eagle River Valley in 1978. He always drew and started painting as a child, but pursued art in earnest in 1990. Inspired by western themes, Mark paints plan-air and in his studio in Eagle full time for the past 12 years. His new work can be seen at the Vail public Library Dec. 1- 15th.
