Teen Tech Week is when libraries make the time to showcase all of the great digital resources and services that are available to help teens succeed in school and prepare for college and 21st century careers.As you may know, the YALSA board has decided to re-envision TTW and TRW and create a larger advocacy/awareness campaign to promote the importance of year-round teen services.
In March 2017, a discussion between YALSA's board members resulted in board document #32 at Annual 2017, which discussed the re-envisioning of TTW and TRW. As a result, a taskforce will be put together to work on proposing ideas for the new awareness campaign.

March 5, 2019From their unique perspective, perched on the lap of a beloved adult, these very young minds absorb what is going on around them and may already be learning an appreciation for books and reading. Baby story time is filled with songs, movement exercises, rhythm and rhyme. This is very interactive and age appropriate for the 0—18 month old patrons.

March 21, 2019Teen Tech Week is a national initiative sponsored by YALSA and is aimed at teens, their parents, educators and other concerned adults. The purpose of Teen Tech Week is to ensure that teens are competent and ethical users of digital media, especially the nonprint resources offered through libraries. Teen Tech Week encourages teens to use libraries' nonprint resources for education and recreation, and to recognize that librarians are qualified, trusted professionals in the field of information technology.
Join Vail Public Library and our special guest from Hypatia Studio LLC's, Matt Roesle and Mahi Palanisami, and earn how to design your own Celtic knots using Hypatia Studio LLC's custom online Celtic knot creator! You will print your design right at this workshop!You don't need to bring anything, just show up and join the creativity.
This program is open for teens ages 12-18.
