Preschool Story Time – Enjoyed by locals and visitors alike, children and caregivers join Cricket at Vail Public Library, as she leads listeners in rhymes, songs, stories and more. Each story time also features an age appropriate art activity. Active participation is encouraged from everybody as children enjoy these pre-reading activities designed to be the building blocks for strong readers and students. Come explore with us and make it a plan to join your friends at Vail Public Library on the third Thursday of each month for an inspired and creative project. Be part of a group that plans and participates in Kids Create! Suggested for elementary aged students K – 5th grade. It’s a great way to spend some after school time! Summer Lecture Series - The People & History of Farming – Presented by Jim Richardson, National Geographic Photographer Contributing Editor - Traveler Magazine National Geographic photographer, Jim Richardson, will present his world travels in photographs of people and their efforts to feed the planet. |
