February 1, 2020In collaboration with the Climate Action Collaborative, Vail Public Library invites all Eagle County residents to save money and cut climate pollution by exchanging two inefficient old-tech lightbulbs for two high-efficiency LEDs during the month of February, 2020.
Residents are encouraged to bring in two incandescent or compact-florescent bulbs and exchange them for two LED bulbs free of charge any time during library hours.
Switching to LED lighting is one of the easiest and lowest-cost ways to reduce air pollution.

February 26, 2020Charles Broschinsky and Emily Zeigler have been performing chamber music in the Vail Valley for over 7 years. The Chamber Music Group tries to include a slightly eccentric mix of classical, baroque, romantic, and contemporary ensemble pieces in its repertoire, while tailoring its music to please anyone.
Emily, a retired lawyer, began playing the flute at 10 years old and is currently teaching in YouthPower365’s music program in the Avon Elementary School, a program that provides instruments and instruction to elementary school students. Charles began playing the clarinet many years ago and has recently expanded his vision for expression through his music. He is also pastry chef at Juniper Restaurant.
The Chamber Music Group has performed at libraries, art shows, lectures and events throughout the Eagle Valley.
