Springtime enlivens the forests of our beautiful Rocky Mountains. Colorado's culturally modified trees (CMTs), have been altered but not permanently harmed for a specific purpose. The Ute Peoples of Colorado practiced cultural modification on various pines, junipers and even aspen. Join us in the library’s Community Room for a presentation on CMT’s, with light refreshments & the company of great friends. Construct your canvas from recycled pallet wood with instruction and hand tools provided by local woodworker Caleb Eaton. Then, paint or stain your canvas with the Colorado flag!- $20 per person; all materials included
