Baby story time is filled with songs, movement exercises, rhythm and rhyme. This is very interactive and age appropriate for the 0—18 month old patrons. Preschool Story Time11:00 am – 12:00 pm Enjoyed by locals and visitors alike, children and caregivers join Cricket at Vail Public Library, as she leads listeners in rhymes, songs, stories and more. Each story time also features an age appropriate art activity. Active participation is encouraged from everybody as children enjoy these pre-reading activities designed to be the building blocks for strong readers and students. Libraries Rock with Drum Safari2:00 pm – 3:30 pm Back by popular demand, the library will rock today under the direction of the drumming family of Brandon Draper. Hope you are ready to make some music. Vail Public Library’s Summer Reading Program offers kids the opportunity to join in these fun Tuesday afternoon programs. They are free to kids entering 1st – 5th grades. Students may be dropped off for the program, a parent does not have to stay. In our first year we will focus on networking with each other, visiting other's spaces and listening to needs in the community to begin our journey of strengthening our Colorado maker community.
