Zumba is a high-energy group fitness class that, ware you can burn upwards of 500 calories in a one-hour session! Zumba was born out of a love of Latin music and dancing, intended to make fitness more fun and enjoyable.
One Book One Valley Kickoff Event @ The Bookworm of Edwards

What if everyone in Eagle Valley read the same book at the same time? During the next few months, Vail Public Library, The Bookworm of Edwards, the staff of Colorado Mountain College & the local high school libraries are encouraging the community to do just that by participating in the Annual One Book One Valley community-wide reading initiative. The book selected for 2019 will be officially announced during the kick-off party at The Book Worm of Edwards.
From their unique perspective, perched on the lap of a beloved adult, these very young minds absorb what is going on around them and may already be learning an appreciation for books and reading. Baby story time is filled with songs, movement exercises, rhythm and rhyme. This is very interactive and age appropriate for the 0—18 month old patrons.
Enjoyed by locals and visitors alike, children and caregivers join Cricket at Vail Public Library, as she leads listeners in rhymes, songs, stories and more. Each story time also features an age appropriate art activity. Active participation is encouraged from everybody as children enjoy these pre-reading activities designed to be the building blocks for strong readers and students. Join us! in the Tech Studio for Hour of Code. The Hour of Code began as a one-hour introductory course in basic computer science, designed to simplify coding. It has grown into a world-wide effort to encourage further participation and interest in the field of computer science. Sandy will be hosting this event, providing support for anyone who might need it. Come try out a little coding and push the boundaries of your of computer comfort zone. Natalie Spears is a folk music vocalist who also plays a variety of instruments including the bass, banjo, and piano. Raised on Jazz, Blues, and Folk music, her own music is a reflection of these diverse styles. Learning to play the piano at the age of five, Natalie's love of Old Time music would later flourish into a full-fledged passion and a rewarding career. This event is free and open to the public.
