Kids Create - Marble PaintingKids Create - Marble Painting – is back!Join us! on the third Tuesday of each month through the school year for a fun and interactive arts and crafts program. Appropriate for elementary-aged kids. MARBLE PAINTINGMarble painting for kids is an easy and fun action art activity! It’s not painting marbles, but rather painting with marbles. Mix play and art by using marbles to paint colorful lines on paper. When filled with marble-painted lines, your picture will look like a gorgeous abstract painting! These classes will still focus on gentle yoga practice and will introduce some flavorings from China, including Tai Chi and Daoism. Kim Brodin is an Eagle County native, her background includes 12 years in education, and she hopes to incorporate playful language, nature, and quotes into the healthy movements of your yoga practice. Tech StudioTech Studio – Join us! back in Tech Studio, Vail Public Library's very own MakerSpace! Located on the lower level of the library (across from the elevator), our Tech Studio is a true creation station for all ages, abilities, and interests. Join us in the library's community room for this fun concert featuring David Rogers Termed “a prominent guitarist” by the New York Times, and praised by The Washington Post for his “astonishingly florid” improvisations, David Rogers Fuses classical, jazz, and world music into beautiful, expressive and virtuosic performances. |
