Join us! in the Tech Studio for Hour of Code. The Hour of Code began as a one-hour introductory course in basic computer science, designed to simplify coding. It has grown into a world-wide effort to encourage further participation and interest in the field of computer science. Sandy will be hosting this event, providing support for anyone who might need it. Come try out a little coding and push the boundaries of your of computer comfort zone. Santa's Family Fireside Holiday PartySanta's Family Fireside Holiday Party – Join Vail Public Library and Santa himself for our annual family holiday party, taking place in the fireside lounge. This fun-filled event is open to children of all ages who wish to visit with Santa Claus. While waiting to meet with Santa, kids are welcome to participate in making arts and crafts. Santa takes his time with each child who visits with him, so patience is of the utmost importance. Babies and toddlers are welcome to meet with Santa on Fri., Dec. 14th, from 11am - 12:30pm in the community room. We offer this next-day session in the community room for children who are under 3-years-old and who may benefit from meeting Santa in a calm, daytime setting. Toys will be available to play with and snacks will be offered so that waiting can be just as enjoyable as meeting with Santa. |

Santa and the BabiesSanta and the Babies – Babies and Toddlers: December 14th, from 11:00am-12:30pm in the Community Room This is a wonderful opportunity for a photo with Santa in a calm and casual environment. We offer this to children under three years who will benefit from a daytime, calm and casual Santa experience. There will be toys out and snacks offered to make waiting for your turn a playful experience with friends and family .
