Little Listeners In Your Living Room

Presented by First Western Trust

Music education is a critical component of Bravo! Vail’s mission, and much of the regular programming will move online this summer.

Little Listeners at the Library will now be online, broadening its reach to communities everywhere. During these performances, Bravo! Vail’s youngest listeners explore a musical idea or term with the performing artists. Each concert is paired with books recommended by local librarians to continue exploration independently.

The 2020 Little Listeners programs are available via Zoom for three consecutive Wednesdays in July (July 15, 22 and 29) starting at 2 p.m. and running 45-minutes long.

On Wednesday, July 22, Violist Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt of the Dover Quartet and her partner, cellist Brook Speltz of the Escher Quartet teach audiences about range, which refers to the distance between the highest and lowest notes found in a given melody.

To help create a positive and enjoyable experience, Bravo! will need participant information ahead of time. Please email education@bravovail.org with the number of children participating, ages, and where they will be tuning in from.

The Zoom link will be emailed to all participants just ahead of the event.
