Throwback Thursday with VPL! 🙂 In July of 1983, VPL first opened its doors. Back in 1980, architect, Pam Hopkins (featured in the first photo), entered a design contest for the Town of Vail. As history has it, she won & got to design the beautiful library people near & far have enjoyed for 37 years! She was even in charge of VPL’s remodel that took place in 2012 & has won multiple green design awards throughout her career. Also, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if our Little Free Libraries aren’t filled with enough books - we are more than happy to re-fill them for you ASAP! 🤗
Missing in-person story times with the lovely, Miss Cricket? Starting July 14th, she will begin hosting story times in Vail Public Library’s backyard each Tuesday at 11am! Join us! for stories, songs & fun movement activities! In order to participate, you must not come if you are displaying symptoms of #covid19, you must maintain 6 feet of distance between yourself & others & it is recommended that you bring your own seating with you! We’re excited to have you back! 🥰
