This week, the Vail Public Library joins libraries in schools, campuses and communities nationwide in celebrating the dynamic changes that are happening in today’s libraries. April 10-16 is National Library Week, a time to highlight the changing role of libraries, librarians and library workers.

Vail Public Library is celebrating National Library Week by offering a variety of programs throughout the week.

Monday, 4/11, 3:30-4:30, Healthy Habits for Kids – Juicing with Green Elephant
Tuesday, 4/12, 2:00-3:00, Job Seeking and Interviewing Skills with Workforce Center3:00-4:00, One-on-one Computer Help with Workforce Center
Wednesday, 4/13, 3:00-5:00, One-on-one Computer Help with Workforce Center
Thursday, 4/14, 1:00 -2:00, Common Cents for Colorado seminar: "Eating well on $6 a day!"  Ever wonder how much money you spend on food?  Do you ever ask yourself, "Am I getting my money's worth?" "Am I eating what is valuable to my body?"  Join Vail Public Library for this new seminar to consider these topics and others as we discuss the economics of food.  You may find that changing a few of your food habits will put extra dollars in your pocket make you healthier and happier besides!
