One Book One Valley Kick Off - Avon Library
January 14, 2016
One Book One Valley (OBOV) is gearing up for its fifth year. The selected title will be officially announced at 6pm on Jan. 14, 2016, at the Avon Public Library. Members of the One Book One Valley Committee, along with various local dignitaries, will be on hand for this special annual event. 2016 marks the fifth year of this very successful county-wide reading initiative. Join the celebration on Jan. 14 to discover this year's title. The mission of the OBOV initiative is to encourage reading among people of all ages and to bring the community together through a shared, common experience. We strive to make the chosen book come alive through our programs and we want readers to understand the setting of the book, as well as the characters. This program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, please contact Lori A. Barnes, Director of Vail Public Library, at 970-479-2194.
