Dream Big - Read!
This FREE weekly event is for children from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Each week's Summer Reading Program event features a different exciting guest, including a magician, an astronomer, musicians, and others. Younger siblings may join us for the entertainment portion in the company of a responsible adult.
Weekly activities for the registered summer readers include arts, crafts and games. Upon registration, children will receive a reading log and stickers. Children are encouraged to log the time they spend reading throughout the summer. We will record and display their reading tally and award prizes for our reader's efforts.
The first hour will be library fun, games and art. The second hour will spotlight our entertainer.
Call 970-479-2187 for more information and/or directions.
Please note the new location for the Summer Reading Program during the renovation of the Vail Public Library. The new location is adjacent to the southwest end of the LionsHead Parking Structure in the Vail Recreation District’s managed Imagination Station and Youth Services location on the second level of the parking structure.
