"There is divine beauty in learning, just as there is human beauty in tolerance. To learn means to accept the postulate that life did not begin at my birth. Others have been here before me, and I walk in their footsteps. The books I have read were composed by generations of fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, teachers and disciples. I am the sum total of their experiences, their quests. And so are you."

—Elie(zer) Wiesel (b. 1928) Romanian-born writer, lecturer, survivor Nazi camps, Nobel

Document Actions

Raymond A. Bleesz has been doing "portraiture" since 1976 when he became committed to fine art photography. While he does have a portfolio of "post card" photographs, pretty landscapes et al, it is the candid portraiture which speaks to him. His portraits tend to be silver gelatin BW prints or digital BW prints rather than color. Please visit his exhibit in the Town of Vail Public Library's Community Room during library hours (exclusive of meetings/events). Exhibit continues through January 31st.
