"The ideas I stand for are not mine. I borrowed them from Socrates. I swiped them from Chesterfield. I stole them from Jesus. And I put them in a book. If you don't like their rules whose would you use?"

Please join Jackie Clark and the Vail Public Library to design and plant your own dish garden at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday June 4. A dish garden is a collection of small, shallow rooted plants growing in a low bowl or shallow dish; a small-scale landscape. Material fee will be $10 per person with your own container, or $15 per person with a container provided by the library. If bringing your own container, please make sure it is approximately 4” deep and 8” in diameter, a shallow dish, low bowl, favorite container, urn or glass vase with an opening the size you can fit your hand into to plant your dish garden. Payments can be made by cash or check, and space is limited. Please RSVP by Wednesday May 28 to Liz Willhoff at 970-479-2190 or
