Gentle Yoga – Tuesdays at 11:30am
This Gentle Yoga class is designed to provide participants with a relaxing, meditative and healing experience. Anne Anderson is a Kripalu Yoga Teacher, Registered with Yoga Alliance and a Certified Professional Ski Instructor of America. She is President & Founder of SNOWGA, LLC, a group she created in 2009. SNOWGA blends Yoga & Snowsports into a revolutionary method of improving skills on the slopes through the wisdom of yoga. We have a limited number of mats, please bring one from home if available.
Community Meditation – Tuesdays at 5:00pm
Whether you are well along the path, just beginning to develop a practice or simply interested in exploring the path of meditation with others, we invite you to join community members in a weekly meditation gathering. Meditation gatherings are informal, following no specific approach, practice or formalities. Each session will open with a brief welcome and inspirational passage, followed by calming, breathing techniques and a 30-minute meditation session. Sessions will close with brief comment or further inspirational thought from varied disciplines. Chairs are available or those preferring are welcome to bring a meditation cushion.
We will be taking pictures and recording video from time to time during programs. If you don’t want to be photographed or video recorded, please let us know, and we will do our best to protect your privacy. If you do consent, the photos and video taken may be used on press releases, or on the library’s website and/or social media sites.
