AWE Chamber Trio – Tuesday, November 24, 5:30 pm
The Vail Public Library welcomes returning musical guests, AWE Chamber Trio. “Living the Dream” may be the best way to describe the ambitions and goals of the AWE Chamber Trio. The principals, Charles Broschinsky, Emily Zeigler and Carolyn Schneider, have joined musical forces to further their love of different styles of music and present it to the Vail Valley in unique settings and venues. The Chamber Trio tries to include classical, baroque, romantic, and contemporary ensemble pieces in its repertoire, while tailoring its music to please anyone.

This Gentle Yoga class is designed to provide participants with a relaxing, meditative and healing experience. Anne Anderson is a Kripalu Yoga Teacher, Registered with Yoga Alliance and a Certified Professional Ski Instructor of America. She is President & Founder of SNOWGA, LLC, a group she created in 2009. SNOWGA blends Yoga & Snowsports into a revolutionary method of improving skills on the slopes through the wisdom of yoga.
Holiday Wreaths & Swags – Wednesday, December 2, 5:30 pm
Please join us for a fun, festive evening and create your own holiday wreath or holiday teardrop swag. Using natural and preserved materials, we will create festive decorations. Books ‘n’ Bites – Wednesday, December 9, 5:00 pm
This month’s selection is “Bittersweet” by Colleen McCullough. Summary: Because they are two sets of twins, the four Latimer sisters are as close as can be. Concert with Hiroya Tsukamoto – Wednesday, December 9, 5:30 pm
The Vail Public Library welcomes Hiroya Tsukamoto as he takes us on an innovative, impressionistic journey filled with earthy, organic soundscapes that impart a mood of peace and tranquility. Hiroya is a one of a kind composer, guitarist and singer-songwriter from Kyoto, Japan.
Family Holiday fun with The Dickens Carolers – Wednesday, December 16, 5:30 pm
Vail Public Library proudly welcomes the Dickens Carolers. Starting at 5:30 pm we invite you to grab a cup of hot chocolate from our hot chocolate bar and cozy up while you enjoy the music of the Dickens Carolers starting at 6:00 pm. Visit with new and old friends after the caroling to participate in our first ever Holiday Cookie Exchange. Cookie Swap Rules: BAKE: Choose a recipe and bake two dozen of your favorite holiday cookies. BRING: Be sure to bring your cookies packaged in two separate packages that can go home with someone. PRINT: Please bring copies of your recipe to share. Blank recipe cards are available at the library. SWAP: Leave with two dozen cookies and new recipes. Everyone who brings 2 dozen cookies may choose a dozen from two other people.
Paper Lantern Making – Sunday, December 20, 1:30 – 4:30 pm
This “Paper Lantern Workshop” with Helen Hiebert is part of Art in Public Place’s 3rd annual Paper Lantern Project. Join us for a free Paper Lantern Workshop in the Community Room at the Vail Public Library with local paper artist, Helen Hiebert. The workshop is free and family friendly.
